Visigoth Museum in Toledo

The museum is located on the east facade of the vertical element that serves as an anchor to the project. A linear and parallel axis represents the Museum’s organizational plan.

The finger-like volumes linked by this spine are destined for exhibition spaces, separated by courtyards.

The blocks sizes can be customized, even though they are represented as 18 meters in depth, enough to accommodate the variety of gallery spaces that figured in the competition’s brief.

The linear axis, parallel to the wall, describes the organizational narrative of the Museum
