The Practice

proyectos / Cultural & Education / PALMA DE MALLORCA CONVENTION CENTRE

Palma de Mallorca Convention Centre

The project’s layout can be classified in two categories of spaces (interior and exterior) and consists of three basic elements:

  • The base is a solid and static element with the auditoriums at both ends, working as well as a guiding element for the public spaces, creating an elevated promenade protected from outside traffic.
  • The multipurpose hall is revealed as a rectangular volume, with the flexibility and accessibility necessary to accommodate different uses.
  • The exhibition hall as a transition between both geometries.
