Pittsburgh International Airport Breaks Ground

The Pittsburgh International Airport is now closer to becoming a reality for millions of users, after celebrating the Groundbreaking ceremony yesterday, October 14th 2021, and marking the start of the terminal modernization works. The event was attended by Luis Vidal and the representatives of Gensler, HDR and ACAA, and a press conference was held before different local and national media sources, echoing the news.

The airport, which will have an area of 58,800 sqm at the end of the works, will be able to meet all of the growth forecasts for routes and passenger traffic, with the capability of processing between 12-18 million passengers per year, thanks to the design of the new terminal.
